This promo, commissioned by Scottish Enterprise to open the Making Scotland’s Future Conference, shows cutting picture to the music beat in various ways: at times straight on the beat, at times in a syncopated rhythm, and at times where the action of the shot synchronises with the beat (for example the robot arm at 50 secs which was retimed to move with the synth melody).
The video is also a good example of integrating graphics done by an external motion graphics artists, with the animated light paths done externally, and the picture scaling effect synchronised with the beat done by me.
